Volvo Group has decided to replace all EDI-communication using OFTP over ISDN and X.25 by OFTP2 over TCP/IP (Internet), Volvo Group plans to close down the X.25-connection by June the 30th and the ISDN-connection by December the 31st 2010.

For suppliers this change brings about the need to prepare their EDI systems and processes for handling OFTP2-based communication over the internet.
