SEEBURGER Releases B2B Operational Dashboard for Use With SAP NetWeaver® XI
Complete Visibility into B2B & EDI Transactions for Easy Search & Monitoring
ATLANTA (April 23, 2007) --- SEEBURGER Inc. today announced the release of the SEEBURGER B2B Operational Dashboard for use with the SAP NetWeaver® Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI), a software utility that adds value to SEEBURGER's SAP NetWeaver XI-based EDI adapters by providing B2B and EDI transaction monitoring and archiving capabilities not required for regular EDI communications. The dashboard speeds the process of finding and retrieving messages and documents used for any kind of business-to-business transaction, facilitates compliance with EDI/B2B archiving requirements, and provides a package of pre-defined reports that furnish complete visibility into all transaction processes.
The new add-on to SEEBURGER's SAP NetWeaver XI-compatible EDI adapters extends SEEBURGER's EDI/B2B functionality for users who require precise, time-sensitive tracking of trading partner communications and cross-application document exchange. It is natively integrated with SAP NetWeaver-based EDI adapters from SEEBURGER, eliminating the need for a standalone application.
In the area of B2B and EDI message tracking, the dashboard enables users to search for documents by any field including message payload and EDI enveloping. Searches can be conducted by specific message (e.g. purchase order #1234) as well as by groups of messages (e.g. all 856 shipment notices that went to a specific trading partner or left the company between 8 and 10 am).
In the area of message archiving, the dashboard provides a robust framework to help enterprises comply with corporate or country-specific message retention requirements. The product's archiving functionality integrates with the organization's existing archiving and data warehouse systems to enable storage of all legally required B2B/EDI information from raw EDI data to the final translation, enhancing the current EDI adapter architecture to address regulatory needs.
Other benefits include:
- A single view of all relevant ERP processing status information, such as whether a particular purchase order has been posted in the SAP® solution in use or whether a particular 997 reconciliation notice has been sent by the trading partner.
- Pre-defined reports including end-to-end transaction lifecycle reports showing all interrelated documents such as POs, SAP solution-based posting status, ASNs, invoices and payments on one screen.
- Customizable reporting views for each internal or external user, including reports dedicated to orders or invoices, 997 reconciliation message status, ASN timing including shipping notices that are not meeting a user-defined time window, and message volume views per inbound receiver for organizations with usage-based chargeback policies.
- Enhanced duplicate checking, enabling cross-checking of EDI documents to be sure that the same message has not been received twice.
"Our new B2B Operational Dashboard extends the capabilities of the EDI adapter we already provide for use with the SAP NetWeaver technology stack to provide fast, flexible, end-to-end visibility into B2B and EDI documents," said Scott Lewin, President and CEO, SEEBURGER, Inc. "This equips organizations with enhanced monitoring powers that make it possible to instantly research transactions, pinpoint problems with external business partners, and otherwise increase control over B2B processes."
The SEEBURGER B2B Operational Dashboard compatible with SAP NetWeaver XI is available exclusively from SEEBURGER.
