With the Cloud Service for SAP GTS customers, the time-critical export and import declarations of the BMW Group to German Customs are processed and sent in compliance with the law.
The customs declarations are created in the SAP GTS module. The SEEBURGER data center securely receives these from the BMW Group. There files are then processed and transmitted to German customs via a dedicated line in a high-performance environment set up for the BMW Group. After checking and processing at German customs, the relevant documents are transferred from there to SEEBURGER and on to the BMW Group.
SEEBURGER handles very large volumes with German customs in the shortest possible time. Electronic export processing from the BMW plant in the USA and from the MINI brand plant in Great Britain to the respective customs authorities has also been successfully implemented via the SEEBURGER EDI Service for SAP GTS since 2018.
BMW Group vehicles cannot be dispatched without an approved export accompanying document. SEEBURGER offers the BMW Group a reliable and stable service for this.
