Companies handling their invoice processes electronically in an automated way are able to save between 60 and 80 percent of costs compared to paper-based processes.

However, not only does the SEEBURGER E-Invoicing Solution ensure a fast ROI, but it also improves the business relationship with both your vendors and your customers: no lost invoices, better utilization of discounts and optimized cash management. Not at last is e-invoicing mandatory by law in some countries, especially in B2G business.

Since 27th November 2020, a number of companies have been required to send their invoices to public bodies in Germany electronically. In the following study, we have researched the current market situation of several hundred companies.

The results show a promising spirit of optimism towards legally compliant, efficient e-invoicing. The study also gives us a fascinating overview of the current challenges facing the providers as well as a detailed analysis of the expectations on e-invoicing. At the same time, we asked how companies assess the prospects for a changeover to e-invoicing and what their expectations are with regard to the various e-invoicing formats and transmission channels.
