ATLANTA, GA – SEEBURGER, a leading business integration technology provider with customers in more than 50 countries, today announced its positioning in the "Visionaries" quadrant of Gartner, Inc.’s 2013 "Magic Quadrant for On-Premises Application Integration Suites" . The designation applies to the SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS), a 100% in-house-engineered platform that avoids the interoperability problems frequently encountered when vendors bolt on third-party solutions to expand functionality. The BIS platform includes built-in business process orchestration as well as a high-performance, any-to-any transformation engine capable of supporting application-to-application (A2A), business-to-business (B2B), managed file transfer (MFT) and cloud-to-on-premises integration projects of any scale.

The Gartner report examines 17 vendors with products providing features that address the needs of systematic application-to-application, B2B and cloud-based application integration. Report authors note that many users are looking to support their integration projects with an integrated suite provided by one vendor, thus eliminating the burden to act as a system integrator for application infrastructure.
“Until the past few years, IT users tended to implement integration projects for A2A and B2B projects separately; however, users are increasingly looking for a consolidated integration solution to both problems,” according to the Gartner report. “Thus, three important trends have driven the consolidation of both internal and external integration project styles onto this version of the application integration Magic Quadrant. Application infrastructure vendors have extended their portfolios to include products that support integration with external endpoints. Vendors of B2B products are extending their portfolios to include products that support A2A integration. (And) enterprises are consolidating disparate B2B integration and application integration initiatives. This includes the consolidation of technologies, best practices and governance.”
With a 27-year focus on business-to-business integration, SEEBURGER has a long history of powering complex multienterprise B2B integration projects that streamline supply chain management, warehouse management and third-party logistics activities for some of the largest manufacturers and other organizations in the world. Over the years, the addition of enterprise application integration technology for A2A projects and managed file transfer technology for exchanging large quantities of unstructured data has extended BIS’ capabilities to support virtually any integration scenario – including synchronizing data between software-as-a-service and on-premises applications.
This broad range of integration functionality lowers costs associated with managing multiple integration solutions, eliminates information silos within the enterprise, facilitates data flow both inside and outside the firewall to support collaboration, and provides efficient information sharing that can deliver critical insights into business needs and opportunities.
“Application integration is a cornerstone of business today. Whether you’re talking about linking ERP and EDI data or integrating data from cloud services with in-house systems, companies need tools to automatically and reliably connect disparate data stores,” said Rohit Khanna EVP Global Strategy and Corporate Development, SEEBURGER. “Thousands of customers around the globe rely on our BIS platform to perform these functions because of our strong track record, wide range of functionality, and our status as the only business integration vendor to offer the smooth interoperability benefits of 100% internal technology development.”
The SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite is used both by large international companies requiring specialized integration projects with large volumes of data, and by small and mid-sized enterprises that frequently utilize the company’s ready-configured, sector-specific standard solutions for business partner integration. It is available in-premise, cloud and managed service deployment models. For more information, visit www.seeburgerbis.com
