What to Expect with Us
- During your studies, you’ll go through different departments and get to know the full spectrum of business informatics – from technical to commercial tasks (e.g. in Sales, Support, and especially Consulting).
- Flexibility for your own path: Even during your studies, you can decide whether you’d like to focus more on technical, commercial, or combined aspects in the future. We’ll support you in finding your own direction!
- Individual support: Our training team and your department will support you personally – you’ll never be on your own.
- Apprentice and student community: Dedicated spaces, regular events, after-work gatherings, and joint projects create a strong sense of community.
What You Bring
- General or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (technical college diploma with DHBW eligibility test)
- Interest in software development, IT systems, and technical processes
- Analytical thinking, team spirit, and a structured way of working
- Initiative and a willingness to take on responsibility
- Some programming experience or IT knowledge is a plus – but not required

Business informatics will continue to be in demand, as understanding complex business processes and implementing effective IT solutions are becoming increasingly important. With your combination of business knowledge and technical understanding, you’ll be ideally equipped.
After completing your dual study program, you’ll have various career paths available to you:
- Consulting: You’ll advise our clients on implementing and optimizing IT solutions, analyze requirements, and support projects from planning to execution.
- Sales: You’ll work in sales, advise clients on our IT solutions, prepare offers, and oversee the entire sales process – from the first inquiry to the contract signing.
- Support: You’ll assist clients with technical issues, find solutions to their problems, and ensure smooth daily operations.
If you’re dedicated and motivated, you’ll have excellent chances of being hired on permanently and can continue to grow – for example, through advanced training, specialization, or a part-time master’s degree.
