SEEBURGER Renews Peppol Accreditation in Australia and New Zealand

Annual review confirms continued compliance with A-NZ e-invoicing security, operational and regulatory requirements

June 19, 2026 – Bretten, Germany

SEEBURGER has successfully completed the annual accreditation review for its role as an Australian accredited Peppol Access Point and Address Capability Lookup Peppol Service Provider. The review confirms SEEBURGER AG’s continuing accreditation and supports the continued provision of secure, standards-based e-invoicing connectivity for businesses operating in the Australia and New Zealand Peppol environment.

The accreditation review was assessed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as the Australian Peppol Authority. It confirmed that SEEBURGER meets the requirements for continuing accreditation, including professional indemnity insurance, business activity and solvency checks, and adherence to the A-NZ e-Invoicing Security Questionnaire.

The review also covered key security requirements, including independent certification against the ISO 27001 standard, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, multi-factor authentication and security monitoring. These requirements are essential for maintaining secure and reliable digital document exchange across the Peppol network.

Through the Peppol framework, businesses benefit from a standardized and interoperable system for exchanging electronic business documents. In Australia and New Zealand, Peppol supports the digitalization of invoicing processes and helps organizations connect with customers, suppliers and public-sector entities through a secure, scalable and compliant network.

Completing the annual review for Australia and New Zealand reinforces the confidence customers can place in SEEBURGER as a secure and compliant Peppol connectivity partner,” said Uwe Onnen, Product Manager E-Invoicing, SEEBURGER. “Our focus is on helping organizations integrate e-invoicing requirements into their existing application and partner landscape efficiently, while maintaining the reliability and security needed for scalable digital business processes.”

As e-invoicing adoption continues to progress across the region, accredited Peppol Service Providers play an important role in enabling secure, seamless and interoperable digital transactions. SEEBURGER supports organizations in meeting local requirements while creating a strong foundation for broader process automation and digital transformation.

SEEBURGER’s next annual review is scheduled for April 30, 2027.
