Your Future? It starts at SEEBURGER!
At SEEBURGER, you actively help shape the digital future – in a company that has relied on strong, practical training for decades. Here, teamwork, openness, and active participation truly matter. On our modern campus, you’ll find exciting tasks, a collegial atmosphere, and genuine appreciation. From day one, you are part of the team, can contribute your strengths, and grow together with us.
What we do
Whether in retail, the automotive industry, or the financial world – in a wide range of sectors, we ensure that companies can automatically transfer data and collaborate smoothly.
For example: To get products on supermarket shelves on time, supermarkets and their suppliers must work together seamlessly. Our solutions ensure that orders, deliveries, and invoices are exchanged automatically and reliably in the background – so you get what you need at the store.
SEEBURGER is a “Made in Germany” company with a family-like atmosphere and a modern campus in Bretten – a place where you quickly feel at home. At the same time, we are a global brand in what we do, with 40 years of experience and over 1,200 employees in 16 countries. SEEBURGER will continue to assert itself in the future: even today, the use of AI can be found in our technologies.

Our culture – our superpower
For us, it’s not just about technology – it’s about people. Our culture is shaped by openness, trust, and genuine collaboration. Our purpose, “Accelerating business to improve the lives of people”, is more than a guiding statement – it’s our driving force. It gives us meaning and direction. Our vision builds on this and shows how we carry that purpose into the future: to deliver the world’s best integration services – with stability, responsibility, and a clear focus on what truly matters: people, digital connections, and sustainable solutions.
To ensure that our culture is not just a promise but something we truly live by, we defined five core values together with our employees: innovation, appreciation, trust, sustainability, and teamwork. They reflect what matters to us – and form the foundation for collaboration and success.
Living Diversity: We Are a Signatory of the Diversity Charter!
At SEEBURGER, diversity is not just a trend. It is a core part of who we are. To reinforce our commitment and turn our values into action, we signed the Charter of Diversity in November 2024.
We foster an inclusive workplace where equal opportunities are a reality and everyone is empowered to thrive. We value every individual for their unique strengths, perspectives, and experiences because we believe that diversity drives innovation, collaboration, and long-term success.
How We Bring the Diversity Charter to Life:
- A Clear Commitment: Our Code of Business Conduct fosters a culture of mutual respect and upholds a strict zero-tolerance policy against discrimination.
- Equal Opportunities for All: Recruitment and career development are based solely on qualifications and potential, regardless of ethnic background, gender, age, or religion.
- Investing in Future Talent: We create opportunities for young talent through a wide range of apprenticeship and dual-study programs.
- Protection & Trust: Confidential reporting channels and secure reporting mechanisms help protect the rights, well-being, and health of all employees.
Taking responsibility together – for people, the environment and society
In a world full of challenges – from climate change and resource scarcity to social inequality – sustainable action at SEEBURGER is more than a principle: it is part of our identity. Our employees also take responsibility through their commitment and projects that sustainably strengthen the environment, society and the economy.
Living sustainability
For us, sustainability begins in everyday life. Our photovoltaic system actively contributes to supplying energy for our company vehicles as well as private electric vehicles. Any additional electricity we require is sourced exclusively as certified green power.
As part of the CO₂ Challenge, we work to improve our software so that it consumes less energy and therefore produces fewer CO₂ emissions. Our goal is to reduce CO₂ emissions by 40% within one year and thus actively contribute to climate protection.
We also focus on sustainable solutions when it comes to mobility: whether the Germany Ticket, bike leasing or electric vehicles – we create environmentally friendly alternatives for commuting and consciously promote sustainable behavior in everyday life.
Commitment to the community
For us, social responsibility does not end at the company gate. We are actively involved in the region – among other things through school partnerships and by supporting local kindergartens to strengthen education and development.
Promoting sports is also particularly close to our hearts. As the main sponsor of the women’s volleyball team of TV Bretten (Brettenvolleys) and a supporter of other clubs such as TSV Knittlingen (handball) and VfB Bretten (football), we set an example for fairness, solidarity and team spirit – values that also shape our culture.
Another integral part of our commitment is the annual blood donation drive at the SEEBURGER Campus, which we organize together with the German Red Cross – open to everyone, not just our employees.
Shaping the future together – with heart and commitment
Our employees actively help shape our corporate culture beyond their day-to-day work. We encourage voluntary engagement and create space for personal initiatives, for example through the SEEBURGER Herzensprojekte (Projects Close to Our Hearts), where we support non-profit organizations proposed by our employees themselves.
In addition, we offer paid leave for voluntary work: employees can take up to five days per calendar year off with full pay to engage in voluntary activities.
Alongside sporting activities such as STADTRADELN and internal groups for biking, football and Body & Mind, we also offer a Sustainability Community where employees can contribute their own ideas and interests and develop them together. This is where impulses emerge that have an impact both within the company and beyond.
Any questions? We've got the answers!
Applications can only be submitted through our careers page, where you will find all currently available apprenticeship and dual study positions.
Our apprenticeship and dual study positions are published every year starting June 1. Positions remain open online until they are filled for the following year. We recommend applying early.
For your application, we need your CV/resume, a cover letter, and your most recent school reports/certificates.
Once you have submitted your application through our online portal, we will carefully review your documents. If your application stands out, we will invite you to an interview. This interview will be conducted by team members from HR and the specific department you would be working in. If you receive an offer, we will send you a contract proposal via email. After that, we will discuss the next steps together.
Your apprenticeship lasts three years and takes place both at our company and at a vocational school.
• Bretten location: The apprenticeship starts every year on September 1. You will attend vocational school two days a week and work at our company on the remaining days to gain hands-on experience. During your apprenticeship, you will take class tests, complete Part 1 of the final exam roughly halfway through, and take Part 2 at the end.
• Köthen location: The process is slightly different and starts every year on August 1. Here, we use a block-release model, meaning you alternate between 2–3 weeks at the Gutjahr Vocational School in Halle (Saale) and 4–6 weeks at SEEBURGER in Köthen.
Regardless of where you start, there is a shared highlight for everyone: our annual three-day Career Camp in September in the Northern Black Forest. All apprentices and DHBW dual students participate together to get to know each other and bond as a team.
The dual study program alternates every three months between theoretical phases at DHBW Karlsruhe and practical phases at SEEBURGER. Each theoretical phase ends with a compact exam period. During the practical phases, you will work on real projects and write project papers, leading up to your bachelor's thesis at the end of your studies. The annual three-day Career Camp in September is also a fixed part of this program.
The first few weeks are all about getting to know each other and finding your bearings. Our onboarding concept supports you right from the start and ensures you feel well taken care of from day one. Together with other apprentices and students, you will get to know the company, our culture, and many new colleagues. You will gain initial insights into the working world at SEEBURGER and learn through a practical example how our solutions support customers worldwide. At the same time, you will have plenty of time to ask questions and make new connections. Various team activities provide a varied start and a relaxed atmosphere, helping you grow into your new role step by step.
The probationary period is four months.
Yes, if you demonstrate very good performance, the duration of your apprenticeship may be shortened after consultation with the relevant parties.
With good performance and dedication, you have excellent chances of being offered a permanent position after completing your apprenticeship or degree program.
We do not have fixed core working hours. Thanks to our flexible working hours policy, you can arrange your working time flexibly between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
Official school holidays, when no vocational school classes take place, are ideal for planning your vacation. Since vocational school attendance is mandatory during your apprenticeship, you should generally take your time off on days when you are scheduled to be at the company. You first submit your vacation request, which is then coordinated with your department.
Yes, a one-week internship is possible. You can gain insights into areas such as IT or Administration, for example. Click here to apply.
